Making Progress on Shepherd’s Hut!

So the shell of the shepherd’s hut is now complete and I’m ready to start on the interior (once I’ve finished lambing!). I’m so please with where we finally decided to locate it – the views from the veranda are simply stunning and perfect for watching the sunset.

Day 1 – Flattening the site (Midge is bored already!)
Day 2 – Wheels and a base
Day 3 – Floor and the start of the walls
Day 4 – Windows and start of the roof
Day 5 – Doors and a veranda
Day 6 – We have a roof
Day 7 – The shell is complete!
